We didn't bring our family, so we just needed a simple place to sleep, eat & shower. But, like I said, we knew going into this vacation that we were not spending much money & did not have high expectations. each night & the smell of bad weed drifted through the area. Our bedroom window was unlocked and open when we got there. Simple updates would go a long way, such as paint. It ran constantly so then we understood why the water was turned off. ![]() We had to turn the water on to our toilet just to be able to flush it. The place smelled like bleach, but we soon found out that once the smell calms down, lol the filthy shines through. ![]() We were pleasantly surprised at the space and bed accommodations that our room had. What I thought I booked on the beach, ended up being across the street in an area that looked more like a dirty garage. You get what you pay for, and we knew that going in. If you are used to staying in condos and extremely nice hotels, this is not for you. The first night we were there, somebody had vomited in the spa, so that was down all the next day, and the area between buildings to get to the pool had 2-5 large puddles of vomit that were left to dry, and remained there when we checked out four days later. ![]() It was very, very loud and just plain uncomfortable. and I had to sign an agreement acknowledging that a refund wasn't a possibility when we checked in. She offered one set that was laying in the office. We didn't bother to complain or try to leave, considering when I went to the counter for linens, the clerk sighed and said something about having to go across the street for them. When we went to open the pull out sofa (which was in horrid shape), there was a crusty blue and white dish towel under the cushions, so the bed had clearly not been changed. The room had visible mold in the kitchenette (Will this let me add pics?), areas of unpainted spackle on the walls, the bathroom was filthy, and the sheets on the bed were sandy and had dirty spots.
